Fun things we have done lately.

We went to Lee's Turkey farm and picked our own produce. Carson had a good time picking apples. Note to self never pick habanero peppers.

Taylor's family came into town and we went and saw the church sites. We went to the sacred grove. It was so much fun because we decided to go camping in up state NY. It was absolutely beautiful.

Us at NY Yankees game. It was a fun game because of the great ballpark snacks. Taylor loves the hotdogs

I really wanted to experience the Macys Thanksgiving parade while we were in NY. We had heard that you could go the night before and watch them blow up the balloons. We went with our friends the Hafans. The subways were so packed that you were completely smashed up to the person next to you, behind you, and to the sides of you. It was nuts. As soon as we walked up out of the subway there were more people in this little area then I had ever imagined. It took us over an hour to walk one block because of pedestrian traffic. To give you an idea of how many people there really was they had multiple NY city cops directing pedestrian traffic. He would motion people to stop and then let others come into the stream of people. It was a nightmare! We opted not to go to the Parade.

Happy Halloween!

This year was a lot of fun because we were able to spend a part of Halloween in Utah with Carson's cousins. Kiffin threw a kids Halloween party that was so fun. She had a spooky basement and bobbing for apples. The kids had witches brew punch, and candy apples. What more could you ask for. Carson loved bobbing for apples he thought it was the funniest thing to pick an apple up with your teeth. I think he bobbed apples for about 10 minutes.

Our friends Misti and Troy threw a Halloween party. We had a good time, the soups were amazing. Taylor gave his best in the donut string contest but didn't win. Better luck next year I guess.
On Halloween day Carson and I along with about 10 other friends went to the Ragmuffin parade. It was tons of fun with lots of kids. I knew we were in NY when they had a section for the dressed up dogs. After the parade we went trick or treating. Carson loved eating all of the candy. He had such a long day that in between stores he fell completely asleep, but he would not let go of his sucker that was in his hand.

Carson did not like carving the pumpkins he kept saying scary, scary! It was really funny because we both tried to get him to help clean out the pumpkin and he wanted nothing to do with it.

We Love you Mia.

On October 17th we delivered our beautiful little girl. Before going into labor Taylor and I knew what the outcome was going to be; the doctor had done many ultra sounds but on the last one they could not find a heart beat. She was delivered at 5:35 PM. She was beautiful! We named her Mia Kaycee Leishman. We wish it was part of Heavenly Fathers plan to have her stay with us, but that is the only thing that keeps us going. We know that we will be with Mia again. We buried her in the Orem cemetery next to my Grandma Pyne. That was the best place she could be, because I know my grandma is taking good care of her. We love you Mia.

Kids Corner

Today Carson and I went to Kids Corner. It was the funnest place. They had a little town for kids. Carson's two favorite spots where the grocery store and Charlies Pizza. At the store he could weigh his food and check out by scanning it all. He loved pushing around the cart and filling it full of pretend food. We spent about an hour at Charley's Pizza. Carson made pretend pizza and hamburgers. When he would pull the pizza out of the oven and hand it to me he would say hot mommy. He loved wearing the hats too. The post office was fun where he put stamps on letters and mailed them off. If any of you come out to see us we will have to stop by kids corner and spend a day. I know we will be returning.

Funny Little Boy!

This is how Carson had to leave the house the other day. I have never laughed so hard at him because he held all of them.He was running all over the house with his shirt half way off thinking it was the funnest thing.
Everyday without fail Carson has one of Taylor's hats on and he can't see so he runs into the walls it is funny.
He loves his Car slippers and has worn them outside once or twice.

It's a Girl

Last week I went in for my ultrasound and we found out that we are having a little girl. We both new on this pregnancy so if they would have told me it was a boy I would have been really surprised. I can't wait to start shopping for girl clothes and everything else she will need. We are so excited to have her coming into our family.

Having Fun at Grandpa Pyne's

We have been in Utah for about a month now, it was supposed to be a week! We went up to Grandpa's house and Carson loved getting on the slide. Dax wanted to try going together down the slide, lets just say they went flying! I tried to grab them like you can see in the picture, but was a little too late. That was the last time down for Carson.

We ate peaches and sat on the patio. You got to love peach season at the Pyne's

Bear Lake with the Warner's and Mitchell's

The first couple of days were cold and windy. I was freezing with a blanket, but the kids were not going to come in for nothing. Carson was shaking because of the cold. I finally got him to where the sweatshirt, but that is about all that helped.
The last day we were at the lake everyone got out on the water winnie and my mom and the three kids stayed on the boat. My mom was going in a straight line nothing crazy at all. Bryan pointed towards the beach and all you could see was sand whiping up. My mom stopped the boat and as soon as she did a wave picked the water winnie up and tossed it. I kid you not, it was the fastest wind storm I had ever seen. My mom started the boat, which caused the rope to jam into the motor. You can't even imagine what it was like. For 35 minutes our boat got tossed around in the water with three little kids getting drenched with water with every wave. I could not for the life of me get the rope out of the motor or untie it. We prayed so hard and the Lord helped us because the rope became loose and we were able to go and pick everyone up. Everyone thought that we had gotten thrown off the boat because of how big the waves were and our boat was parallel to them. When we got to shore we discovered that nearly everything we had on the beach had been blown away! We are just so thankful that we made it in.

Carson loved riding on the tube and the boat.
This is Carson getting mad because I had them stop for a picture and he was going for a RIDE on the waverunner. He would sit and say to my dad WIDE WIDE over and over until they went.

Our New Home

What a crazy adventure this has been. We are still not moved in but oh well, life does go on. The first day my mom and I got here we could barely open the door into the apartment. We just laughed because we knew we had our work cut out for us. I don't know if any of you have moved into NY but it is a lot different then anywhere else. First we are very lucky that we have an elevator, our movers would have killed us!

After we got most of the boxes empty we had to take them down the elevator and out to the box dump. We loaded up all of the boxes that we could fit and got the elevator and we could not get the door shut. We were laughing most of the time because it was a move in that we will never forget. Carson had fun ridding on the cart.
We got things kind of settled before my birthday and the morning of I opened a present that had my sisters flight plan. My dad and mom had flown her out to be with me on my birthday we spent the day in the city. Carson had his first Taxi ride and his first subway trip. It was so much fun to have them here. We love our new home.
This is Carson's first Taxi ride. He loved it because he did not have to be in a car seat.

4-Wheelers!

On Memorial day we went up to Sky Mountain Resort where my parents are building a cabin. We decided to go up and ride the 4-wheelers around and go swimming. Carson loves to go on the 4-wheelers with Grandpa. My dad had him in the front so he could see everything. He was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. Every now and again he would try to drive. I can't believe he loves going on them so much. We rode around for abour three hours. The only time Carson started to get a little fussy was the last 20 minutes of the ride. I decided to have him jump on with us and he was a sleep so fast. He was so tired. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma.

Carson sure is going to miss them both. As soon as my dad walks into the house after work he starts yelling grandpa! grandpa! and instantly my dad has a new friend for the rest of the night.

My Dad went and bought a little 4-wheeeler for Dax and Carson. They spend countless hours driving around my parents backyard. Carson holds on so tight to Dax while he is driving around. It is the funniest thing to watch them go around and around and just laugh the entire time.

Cruise

Taylor and I went on a cruise last week. We had a lot of fun. We probably would have had even more fun if we drank, but then we would not have remembered it! We decided that cruises are spring break for old people.
The first day we pretty much just ate everything in sight and had an evacuation drill. This is us in our life jackets practicing the drill.

It was windy the frist day at sea so we did not get in the water much. Instead we went and got 85 minute seaweed massages, and then I got a facial which was so relaxing.
We again pretty much just ate everything we could that day and everyday we were on our cruise. The food was great and it was free! Every night around midnight we went and got a pizza and a hamburger. Taylor ate the hot dogs and could not stop talking about how good they were. I think it was because it was so late .
On the second night they have a formal night. We got dressed up and after they had a broadway show which actually was really good.
In Jamaica we met this guy named Jack on our tour with a local. He took us everywhere . The rainforest was beautiful . There was a lot of poverty in Jamaica and it was not very clean. We hiked up a waterfall which was probably close to 3/4 a mile. It was so cool. We had to rent water shoes to be able to go up the falls. Taylor fell a couple of times because he was leading our group.

This was the highlight of the trip. In the grand cayman we went swimming with sting rays. It was so cool! I was terrified at the beginning . They come right up to you and rub against your legs. This completly freaked me out at first but after a while you just got use to it. We were able to hold one and got a picture.
On the ship there was a rock climbing wall which we went on. We were actually pretty good at rock climbing. My arms were so sore from climbing the wall.
We got off the ship at 10:00 and our flight did not leave until 5:00 so we went to an arcade resterant and played some arcades it was a lot of fun. Taylor and I had a boxing round. Taylor won his man. I did not go very far.
