Where does the time go?

I swear I just posted something, but soon realized it had been three months. Instead of trying to catch up on the last three months I have decided to make a goal to post every Sunday night.

Gavin is growing up fast. There are days when I want time to speed up, and others I want to stand still. Gavin is a snugly little boy. It just melts my heart when I walk in the room because he smiles and wants to burro into my shoulder. He loves to be hugged and kissed.

Carson is hilarious and keeps me in shape. He continues to talk all the time. I was curious at how many times he could say my name. I counted and in three minutes he said it 64 times.

We went to visit my family for three weeks. I almost forgot I had Carson. He played outside in the yard everyday and crashed every night asking me " when I wake up on this new day can I play outside". He had a blast! Gavin was completely content shoveling handfuls of sand in his mouth.

We have been to the beach almost weekly including a weekend camping trip to the Delaware beaches and a week at Bear Lake. Gavin has consumed more sand this summer then any person should in a life time.

(Carson made me a bowling shirt along with one for him)

Last two months

It has been a crazy two months for us. We have been really busy and really blessed. This is what has happened.

Went to Disneyland.
Carson's 3rd birthday at Disney.
Came home early from Disneyland.
Gavin was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis.
Grandma Warner came to visit.
Gavin had surgery.
Gavin is wearing a helmet full time.
Went camping with the Wolff's.
Had a fun Easter.
Ran a half marathon with Naomi,
and everyday life.

It has been a little crazy for us and therefore the lack of posts. I guess I can't make that my excuse, because I have never been good at posting.

This was on a friends blog. I made one of the 5. So I figured that I had better add it. It is always nice getting things. And it will be fun to make something for someone else.
The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me to you....my choice...made especially for you.

Of course there are some restrictions and limitations:

1 I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2 What I create will be just for you.
3 It will be done sometime this year.
4 You have no clue what it will be... it may be a story; it may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something; I may bake something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure.
5 I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog
(Only if you really want to. I will still make you something). The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!!

Thanks for such a fun time. We always love when they come to visit.

Gavin was blessed on January 11, 2009 It was such a great day. I loved how the day was just simple. Taylor gave him a beautiful blessing and we were really glad that Grandpa and Grandma Leishman could be here for the event.

Christmas 2008

This year we spent Christmas with our friends The Wolff's and Hafen's. We spent a week in a time share in Massachusetts. It was a lot of fun.
These are a few highlights from the trip:

Staying up really late and playing Settlers of Catan.
Going to the swimming pool and the life guards "smothering us".
Taylor and Carson sledding down a hill on a shovel.
Shopping for clothes and having Amy be my personal shopper.
Eating, Eating, and more Eating.
Building a family of snowmen.
Taylor, Chad and Ethan building a huge snow fort.
Making Cookies for Santa.

We had such a fun Christmas and are glad we have such great friends that after a week of being together we still wanted to hang out the day we got back.
