One Year Old Photos

Carson and I went and took his one year old pictures. I only got about 5 good shots because he was interested in throwing pine cones at me and laughing. So this picture is probably me dodging the pine cone and quickly shooting a photo.

Attempt to spaghetti

Carson had his first taste of spaghetti and he loved it. Of course he got it all over. He had thrown it all over the floor. It was a fun mess to clean up! These are some funny pictures that I took of him. The Last picture he started to get mad because Taylor started throwing noodles at him.

Carson's 1st birthday party

We had a MONKEY around birthday party. It was a lot of fun especially for Carson and I because we turned the house into a jungle. We cut out paper leaves and tacked them to the walls and had real bananas hanging from the light fixtures. I tried really hard to attempt to making a monkey cake. Sorry Carson next year I will have someone else make it. My cake looked like a bird! Yes, I called Taylor laughing so hard because it looked so bad.
Carson had a lot of fun with Dax, Aspen and aunt Kiffin. He was so excited to have Grandpa Pyne, Grandma Warner, and Grandpa Joel there too. The best part of all Grandma and Grandpa Leishman got to join us on ISight. They helped him blow out his candle. We love you all and thanks for coming to Carson's Monkey party.

Carson's first hair cut

On the 26th of February Carson had his first hair cut. It was really long actually but I wanted to wait until he was one. He looks so grown up now! My mom cut his hair in her shop and he actually sat pretty good. I mean it was about a 5 minute hair cut but for about 4 minutes he was looking at everything going on around him. As soon as the trimmers came out he wanted nothing I mean nothing to do with them. So he has a few loose hairs but he stills looks so handsome.

Carson is almost one!

Our little boy is almost one. I can't believe how fast he has grown up. He is the funniest person to have around. Yes he does keep me busy but I don't know what I would do without him. He loves to throw balls. Taylor has been throwing with him since he could hold a ball. If I want to keep him busy for a long period of time I will grab a few balls and just play catch. He has an arm and can throw with both hands. He also loves to pull everything out of drawers, baskets you name it if he can reach it he grabs it. I usually put him in the laundry basket or the dryer while I'm doing laundry. He took five steps last night and the only way we got him to walk is I was holding a ball and he wanted it. He also will only stand if he can throw the ball while he is standing. We Love him so much. These are just a few pictures of Carson.

Christmas Time In February!!

Yes, I know it has been way to long since I updated our blog. We have been a little busy you could say.
We spent Christmas up in Canada with the Leishman's it was a lot of fun because everyone was able to come. It was nice to see Jo and Rob and the twins.
This Christmas was a different one because we had a little boy that Santa spoiled. Mom wrote Santa this year and told him he better start early. "Santa already has began for next year". We loved Christmas and the spirit that we had with all of our family close. Here are just a few pictures.
Taylor and I went to an ugly Christmas sweater party. Yes we did when best dressed couple. It was one of the funnest parties we have been to especially with the friends we were with.

Having Fun at Grandpa and Grandma's still

We have had a lot of fun staying with Grandma and Grandpa Leishman and Uncle Denver. We went out to eat last night and Carson had his first taste of black beans. I was up with him all night so I don't think he will be getting those for a while. Denver has been hanging out with Carson a lot especially when the girls come around he wants to be holding Carson for sure.

Hay Ride!!!

We ( the Leishman girls) went to Heritage Park and went on a hay ride. Carson and I sat right next to the horse. Carson would not take his eyes off of it. He was grinning from ear to ear the entire time.

GOING TO SEE GRANDMA AND GRANDPA AND UNCLE DENVER

Canada Eh!!! Carson and I are in Canada right now and having so much fun with Grandpa and Grandma and Carson loves Uncle Denver. It has been really cold (well we are freezing and everyone else says it is warm). Carson had his first sledding lesson down the side walk. He loves the snow and being out and about.

If you know Carson he is a people person. His favorite thing to do is watch people. We decided that to stick him in front of the window and let him watch all of the kids go by. He just sits in his high chair and laughs and laughs. Everyone who walks by just looks and points at him because it is so funny.

Carson had so much fun this year Trick or Treeting. He had his first tast of Candy and loved it. He was so tired by the end of the day, he would not take a nap because he was loving Halloween so much.

Carson had so much fun carving his first pumkin with Grandpa Pyne. He kept trying to put the pumpkin guts in his mouth and loved the feel of it on his hands. He kept opening and closing his hands with all of the guts going everywhere.

On Monday night we went up to the canyon with my sister Kiffin and her family and took some pictures. It was so cold all of the kids were like ice when we got done. We had a lot of fun and found out that Carson loves to eat leaves.

Carson is seven months old now so I decided to take some pictures of him. We went up to Granpa Pyne's orchard and took them with the apples. Carson took his first bite of an apple with his two bottom teeth.

WE FINISHED THE RACE!!!!

We did it with a little help from our cheering squad. Taylor and I have been wanting to run a marathon ever since we have been married and we finally did it last weekend. We ran the top of Utah marathon. We ran the first 21 miles in good condition, but I will tell you what when they say you hit the wall you really hit the wall. It took us an hour and a half to run the last five miles because our bodies were so tired and our
legs were cramping up so bad, but we did it and that is all we wanted to do.

In the Tub!!!!

Carson and Dax (kiffin and bryan's) were playing in the tub. We put so many bubbles in the tub that Carson had a hard time staying sitting because it was so slippery. One time he got his balance off and tipped over. We had the hardest time holding on to him, and pulling him out because he was so slimmy with soap bubbles. They had so much fun and could not stop laughing.

You can see why we have to stick Carson in the tub so much!

DADS NEW BIKE

Ever since Dad was hit on his bike last year he has wanted to get riding again. Unfortunatley BMW took more than a year to get his bike fixed. By that time the itch was too much. He got rid of the old bike and went looking for something else. Initailly it was going to be a Sportster, but when dad saw the V-rod sitting there his old money burning-a-hole in the pocket habit came back. But what a beautiful bike!

This summer has been really a lot of fun we have been busy, but at the same time we have no idea why! Carson loves to go camping especially when he gets to sleep in Grandma and Grandpa Warners camper with cousin Dax. We went to Bear Lake with the Warners and spent a week there. We were all pretty sore from the water winnie and sleeping on the hard ground because we forgot our sleeping bags and the foam pad, but we had our tent minus a pole!!!!

Carson and I hang out all the time. With Dad of course at night and on the weekends. Man Carson keeps us laughing that is for sure. We found out where he is ticklish, his legs, and can get him lauging pretty hard.
He is sitting up now, but is to stubborn to rollover. Everyone says he gets that from his Dad, ha ha, anyone who knows my family would know he inherited that from me. We don't know where he got his blonde/white hair and blue eyes. But he is our little toadhead.
We just got home from Rexburg, Idaho and the 3.5 hour car ride turned 6 hours, what an experience. You know things get desperate when your husband starts making up songs to sing in the car to keep Carson entertained. Don't worry I was singing and making them up right along with him.
